PWCS Schools Closed Tuesday, Feb. 9 on Code Red
All Prince William County Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, February 9, on Code Red. The School Age Care Program will not open.

Superintendent Presents Proposed FY2011 Budget
Reduced funding, increased student enrollment equal $79 million gap for FY2011. Dr. Steven L. Walts, Superintendent of Schools, presented his proposed budget for next year at the Feb. 3 School Board meeting. Read more.
Robotics Event Rescheduled
The Western Division Vex Robotics Qualifier scheduled for January 30 at Benton Middle School has been rescheduled for February 13.

Orchestra Pizza Fundraiser Delivery Reschedule
Orchestra Pizza Fundraiser Delivery Reschedule
Due to the snow and school being canceled on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, the Orchestra pizza fundraiser delivery must be rescheduled. Because of the snow forecast for Friday, February 5, 2010, we will have to wait until after the weekend to have an idea when the reschedule will happen. I am hoping it will be sometime between February 10-12. Keep checking the website for updates on this information.

Cell Phone Policy
As stated in the PWCPS Code of Behavior students are permitted to have their cell phones with them, but they must be TURNED OFF and kept out of sight during the school day. Confiscated phones must be picked up by the parent/guardian in the school office.
