8th Grade Field Trip
The 8th grade will take a field trip to the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Thank you to all chaperone volunteers! We received a great response and we have nearly enough chaperones at this time. Unfortunately, we only have a few spaces left, so we can only accept 5 more volunteers. Please let Mr. Dent (dentrj@pwcs.edu) know if you can chaperone by Tuesday, January 24. The last few spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Thank you!!!
Midterm Exam Schedule Change
Due to a change in our school schedule we had to adjust the Midterm Exam dates. Please check with your child for the changes. You can also visit the Counseling Office page or the World Language teacher's class page. Only the foreign language exams were affected.

Athletic Department T-Shirts
The athletic department has printed a number of T-shirts to fundraise for our Athletic Department. This is a great stocking stuffer or gift idea for a student, parent or grandparent to show school spirit. The last three sports seasons are upon us and this would be a great way to support your school and team. There are only a limited number still left. Order yours now. The shirts are navy blue with a choice of gray or white lettering. Bring your order slip to Room E11 with $10 cash or a check made out to LRMS. The T-shirts are in so you would get the shirt on the spot. Thank you for your support!
School Rewards Programs
Have you connected Lake Ridge Middle School to your Giant, Harris Teeter, Safeway, Bloom and Target shopping cards so the school can earn "rewards" for the money you spend there? If not, follow this link to the page that gives you the web addresses and school codes for each of the retailers, and register with them. Thank you.
Yearbook Photo Contributions
The LRMS Yearbook wants your candid pictures for possible use in the yearbook. If you attend any LRMS sports, music, club, fieldtrip, or other school community activity and take pictures of the event, we may be able to use them in the yearbook.
Please eShare your pictures quickly as we are constantly selecting images to meet deadlines. Provide as much detail as possible (including names and grades) for each photo. The more you eShare, the better our coverage can be.

- Enter your school code: 3015844
- Locate the picture (file) you want to upload
- Click on the file name to select it
- Click “open”
To upload more than one file:
- CTRL-click on each filename
- You can upload 10 files at a time
- Click each thumbnail to select it
- Enter info about images
- Click “Submit Image Information” when you are done
School Store
The School Store is open every day during advisory. We carry everything from wolf and holiday pencils to flash drives and Sharpies. Concussion Education Sessions
Mandatory Concussion Education Training Session will be held at LRMS for all parents/guardians and students who may wish to try out for a school sport at the following time:
